HAZEL MCCALLION IN ORANGEVILLE

Save the date and join us for a luncheon with Her Worship, who has graciously agreed to address the local business community in a fundraising effort for Headwaters Arts.

"How Supporting Arts and Culture Can Build Your Business and Enhance Our Community"

DID YOU KNOW THAT:
  • The arts and culture sector contributed $46 Billion to Canada's GDP in 2007 (3.8% of Canada's real GDP
  • In 2008, Canadians spent more than twice as much on live performing arts ($1.4 billion) than on sports events ($0.65 billion)
  • The cultural sector generated approximately $25 billion for taxes in all levels of government in 2007. That is more than three times higher than the $7.9 billion that was spent on culture by all levels of government in 2007
Ask yourself - is your business getting your fair share of this business? Now is your chance to learn how to attract this sector of our local economy ($3.5 million/year in Orangeville alone).

Don't miss this incredible opportunity to hear how this Mississauga Icon has changed the relationship between business and the arts within her own community with incredible results. Hear how she has helped local businesses to enhance their business image and reputation in the community and reach new potential clients.  Learn the secret to creating successful partnerships that benefit your business, and support and highlight arts and culture within the community.
