May 26- An Amusing Journey Through the Orangeville Sun Newspaper

An Amusing Journey Through the Orangeville Sun Newspaper - Presented by Ken Weber, Author/Researcher/Columnist/Enthusiast, Sponsored by In The Hills

Religion, politics, and booze competed with local news for space in the small town newspapers of yesteryear, and the Orangeville Sun was no exception. From its birth in 1861 to the final edition in 1933, the Sun documented the strengths and failings of the human condition with wit, wisdom, and a dash of whimsy.

Enjoy this Sunday afternoon presentation by one of our region’s most talented authors and speakers, Ken Weber. Ken is also the “Historic Hills” columnist for In The Hills. Cash bar and reception to follow in the Museum’s Main Gallery.

Tickets: $7.00 for DCMA Members, $10.00 for non-members. Pre-registration required, call 877-947-7787 or e-mail info@dufferinmuseum.com.
